Where is Sakhrani whisky made?

Sakhrani's proprietary blend is aged in ex-bourbon casks in Scotland — building depth, balance and structure before its journey east. It is then finished in rare Japanese woods in Yanbaru, northern Okinawa, where Ogimi's ultra-soft water and the subtropical climate of the UNESCO forest shape its final character. A whisky that carries Scotland's craft and Okinawa's spirit.

Is Sakhrani whisky non-chill filtered?

Yes. All Sakhrani expressions are bottled at 47% ABV, non-chill filtered, and contain no added colour. This preserves the whisky's natural body, texture, and the full depth of character imparted by the rare Japanese wood finishes.

Finished in rare Japanese Mizunara oak, deep between Yanbaru forest and the East China Sea. Sakhrani Mizunara is the deepest expression in the trilogy — a meditation in a glass. Warm spice and incense rise first on the nose, followed by sandalwood and a quiet depth that asks to be met slowly. The palate delivers exotic spice, dried fruit, and Mizunara's signature coconut note. The finish is exceptionally long, resinous, and deeply calming.
