Refund & Return Policy
At SAKHRANI Distillery, we carefully inspect and pack every order before shipment. As our products are alcoholic beverages, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, opened bottles, or orders placed in error, except where required by applicable law.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive an incorrect product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please provide your order number and clear photographs showing:
- The bottle and product received
- The seal or cork
- The inner packaging
- The outer shipping carton and any visible damage
Once we have reviewed the issue, we will determine the appropriate resolution and, where applicable, provide a replacement or refund for the affected product. Replacements are subject to stock availability.
Please do not return any product without contacting us first and receiving our instructions.
Where a return is due to our error, including damaged, defective, or incorrect items, SAKHRANI Distillery will cover the cost of return shipping. Where a return arises from other circumstances attributable to the customer, the associated return shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility.
Shipping & Delivery
Orders may be shipped from our Okinawa warehouse or our Miyazaki warehouse depending on stock availability. Items from the same order may, in some cases, be shipped separately.
The shipping origin does not affect the product prices or delivery terms displayed at checkout.
We will arrange shipment using the designated delivery carrier. Delivery times may vary depending on the carrier, weather, transportation conditions, local authorities, and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Failed or Returned Deliveries
Please ensure that your delivery address and contact information are complete and accurate when placing your order.
If delivery cannot be completed because of the recipient's absence, refusal to accept the shipment, an incorrect or incomplete address, failure to complete required age or identity verification, or other circumstances attributable to the customer, additional delivery charges may apply if re-delivery is requested.
If a shipment is returned to us following an unsuccessful delivery attempt, any refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account applicable shipping and handling costs and applicable law.
Age Verification
SAKHRANI products contain alcohol and may only be purchased and received by persons of legal drinking age in Japan.
The recipient may be required to provide age or identity verification or an adult signature upon delivery.
We cannot accept returns or provide refunds where delivery fails because the recipient does not meet applicable age requirements, refuses required verification, or otherwise prevents lawful delivery, except where required by applicable law.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or interruptions in fulfillment or delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including typhoons, earthquakes, floods, extreme weather, strikes, wars, pandemics, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, or other events of force majeure.
Refunds
Where a refund has been approved, it will generally be processed to the original payment method. The time required for the refund to appear may vary depending on the bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Where the issue is caused by our error, a defective or incorrect product, or another circumstance for which a refund is required by applicable law, the relevant amount will be refunded accordingly.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SAKHRANI Distillery's liability in connection with an order will be limited to the amount paid for the affected goods.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
